The DeskTask app operates primarily as an offline, on-device application. All your personal data, tasks, notes, and calendar events are stored LOCALLY on your device. We DO NOT store, backup, or transmit your personal task data to our servers. Therefore, TechVedx and the Developer bear absolutely NO LIABILITY for any loss of data, corrupted databases, app crashes, or any financial or professional losses resulting from the use or inability to use this app. You are solely responsible for keeping your data safe.

1. Information Collection and Use

While using our app, we do not require you to provide us with any personally identifiable information. Your tasks and to-do lists are saved directly to your phone's storage via SQLite.

However, the app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

Google AdMob: We use AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to show personalized or non-personalized ads.
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: We use Firebase to monitor app performance and crashes. This collects anonymous diagnostic data (like device model, OS version, and crash logs) to help us fix bugs.

2. Data Security & Storage

Your task data is stored securely in your device's local sandbox environment. Since we do not transmit this data over the internet to our servers, we cannot recover your data if you uninstall the app or lose your phone. We value your trust in providing us with anonymous crash logs, but remember that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
